In 2023, we launched the L4Re Micro Hypervisor, which today is already included as reference hypervisor with NXP’s S32Z/E Vehicle Integration Platform and also supports the Cortex-R52 processor on a variety of other platforms, as well as the newly launched Cortex-R82AE processor.
In a live webinar that was hosted on the renowned Mobex platform by Automotive World, our CTO Dr.-Ing. Adam Lackorzynski and Principal Software Architect Jan Klötzke talked about virtualization and how the L4Re Micro Hypervisor is supported by the Armv8-R Cortex-R family in particular:
- Explore how the open-source L4Re Micro Hypervisor enables scalable and adaptable zonal and central SDV architectures
- Learn how the L4Re Hypervisor family provides a secure and safe foundation for the whole SDV space
- Discover how Open Source can foster collaboration in the SDV space
- Understand the need for a common hardware abstraction layer across hardware architectures and platforms
Are you curious how you can use the L4Re Micro Hypervisor to enable scalable and adaptable zonal and central software-defined vehicle (SDV) architectures? You can simply rewatch the webinar for free and download the slides from the Mobex platform.
