Great news for L4Re Users and everyone interested in our open-source microkernel-based L4Re Operating System Framework: We have relaunched and completely redesigned the L4Re.org website.
As an open-source project, the L4Re source code is available to the entire community, enabling transparency and collaboration. Thanks to the trustful exchange with the L4Re community, we get regular feedback how to make L4Re more accessible and easier to understand.
Because L4Re is getting more and more awareness outside the small circle of microkernel experts, we have decided to fundamentally revision our L4Re documentation. Until now, L4Re’s documentation has been primarily maintained using Doxygen: a tool specifically designed for generating documentation from annotated source code. It is particularly useful for technical documentation that delves deep into implementation details.
To complement this technical documentation, we are now adding more high-level explanations, examples, and more useful elements to the L4Re.org website.
What to expect on the new L4Re.org website?
- Improved documentation: In addition to technical details, we now offer more comprehensive explanations and practical examples to make it easier for you to get started with L4Re.
- User-friendly design: The new website is more organized and features intuitive navigation to help you quickly find the information you need.
- Community integration: We value our community’s input, so the website also includes links to our community resources.
